First order of buisness is that I am quite pleased with my stats as of late. Today I have had 35 views thus far, yesterday I had only a perplexing 3 views, but the day before that I had 47 views – my most ever! I suppose writing about strange dreams really works! (Nah…)

The second order of buisness is addressed to “the REAL Airolyn” and I would like just to say that while Airolyn may be your name in the book we are writing, that doesn’t make it fully yours considering that I am the one who came up with it. I say this with the utmost respect and love, and while I would love to make you happier by changing my name to Riyah (as that is my REAL name) I do not feel it is alright for me to simply change my alias to my real name after 13 or so posts. It just doesn’t work tat way. Thanks to you, however, it is now no longer a good alias so I suppose I should come up with a new one although that won’t do me any good because people will know it is an alias and be aware of who I truly am. No no no no…. Therefor, due to the above reason, I am planning on keeping my current alias as is. While I know this will not send you jumping for joy, it should make you at least a little more at ease that I thought a long time about your heartfelt and important comment. On that note I feel it is necessary to ask that you refrain from killing me for that would be putting your own life in danger because so many people love me that they would surely hunt you down if you were to relieve them of my presence via blog. Therefor, as any good friend would do, I am saying that for your own safety only you should not dispose of me.

(If I go missing, oh blogging buddies, you will know who took me! It’s “the REAL Airolyn,” chaps, it’s her!! Avenge me! If needed…)

I am currently beginning to pack for my trip to my dad’s house and then for my adventure at….ART CAMP!!! (Cue dramatic lighting and music for that special “wow” factor that comes with the announcement of something wonderful…) This camp rocks soooo much, I can’t wait! They have everything from glassblowing, to guitar lessons, to acting, to painting, so sports in our free time, to this and that and everything else artsy and fun!! I’m gonna have a blast, I can tell.

But before I leave for the fantastical land of arts and crafts and song and dance I must first visit my dad for 2 weeks. My dad lives about two hours from where I do, and usually when we go to see him or he comes down to see us we don’t really do much. It’s rather…boring, and therefor it is not something I especially look forward to. When we see him at his house he usually tells us no T.V. most of the time and sends us outside. Where it is hot. Very, very, very hot. This is not fun. When I mentioned this to my mother she simply said something along the lines of find some sticks and build a shack. Hardy har har…very funny – not! No I will not build a stick shack to entertain myself!!! I will simply need to be sure that my iPod remains charged at all times. Then I will be happy. Ish. The only flaw with this plan is that my iPod is an iPod shuffle. The old shuffle. Therefor, I must shuffle through 170-ish songs to find the one I want. This is about as much fun as building my mother’s suggested shack. In other words, none. All this because I had to be cursed with forgetfulness and leave my iPod at my guitar lesson where I assume it was stolen because it was never seen since. Poor, poor me. I say we all take a moment of mourning for my gorgeous, blue, stolen iPod of wonder…*sigh.*

Anyway, while I am on the subject of iPods I think I shall rant about my new and current favorite song. It is by one of my favorite bands – Panic! At the Disco – and it is called “Time to Dance.” I love it! It’s just so…out there…very much their style. Or, it was their style…on their good album! But noooo they had to go all wierd (er, more wierd…wierd in a bad way!) on their latest album with songs like “Nine in the Afternoon” which I for one can’t stand, but since tons of other people loved it I suppose my sole opinion doesn’t matter. Ugh. Also good is “Viva La Vida” by Coldplay. Hauntingly beautiful…

Third order of buisness has to do with my despair regarding one of my cats. His name is Prospero and he is suffering from a hip thing. We took him to the vet and he was given pain killers or something and then seemed to be fine, until yesterday that is. I noticed him limping and when I touched his right hip where the problem was said to be he let out such an anguished yell…it broke my heart. I don’t want my cat to suffer and so I think he might need surgery, but I’m not sure if there is any for this problem. I’m not saying he will be put down (that is beyond out of the question) but I’m just unsure of what will happen and it’s making me nervous. For those of you who know Prop I’m sure you feel my pain… =/

Now my mother is complaining about the state of my room and is saying that it is unacceptable. I disagree, and I must point out that what she thinks of my room’s cluttered-ness (I am admitting nothing!) is irrelevant due to an agreement we made after she got sick of yelling at me to clean my room. The agreement was that if I was able to vacuum two of my corners each week she would be happy. I can currently see one of those two corners and finding the other should not be too hard, therefor, since I am capable of vacuuming two corners of my room, she cannot outwardly voice her anger to me. SO HA! I win…

Next on my buisness list of things worth reporting to be reported is that I think I will turn this blog into a book. I will write a whole lot more and then make up a fake ending (because there will be no real ending to this blog) and slap it together and publish it. I think it will be a bestseller when I clean up a few things!

That was my self-confidence booster for the day. I needed it because I am dead because I was forced into a thrift store earlier and something about those places – the smell, the clothes unorganized and mushed together on rags, the $40 rabbit fur coat we saw – kills me. I mean, no offense to you people who do the thrifty thing, I’m all for it, just don’t tell me.

Unfortunately my mother is yelling at me to come upstairs because it is bedtime, so there can be no 5th order of buisness in this post.

Hopefully I will be able to blog a bit within the next two weeks from my father’s house, but then at the month-long art camp I will be cut off from the world, so heads up! (Please do not commit suicide from your sorrow that I am gone – never fear, I shall return! That was another pick-me-up, don’t burst my bubble!)

♥ until next time, Airolyn

UPDATE!!!! I FOUND MY IPOD!!! I was cleaning out my guitar case and I found it in there!!!!!! I’m sooo happy now! I don’t have to shuffle through 170 or so songs!! YEEESSSSSS!!! *does happy dance!*    ( 7-01-08 )
